Impact-resistant face and trim
A protective LED mask keeps air-inflated sports balls off the diodes. Micro-grooves help perceived contrast. Perimeter trim protects edges as part of the mechanical design.
Sports
This is an indoor field-house and futsal specification. XL AV specifies a rugged indoor LED wall for score, replay, and club branding, not an outdoor pitch ribbon.
Soccer clubs and campuses often need a wall in a field house, training gym, or futsal hall. That room still takes ball impact and still hosts meetings, sponsor nights, and tournaments.
XL AV specifies LUXVISION PROLUX Rugged for those indoor spaces. PROLUX Rugged is not an outdoor pitch board. Weather-exposed stadium faces use a different LUXVISION family.
Score, replay, training playback, and sponsor inventory are layouts on a 16:9 indoor wall. Front service and onsite spares are the repair path when the wall sits tight to structure.
We survey the room, specify processing, and train the people who will run games and club events.
Indoor soccer halls are often bright and mixed. We operate PROLUX Rugged around 2,100 nits so the wall stays readable without extra heat load.
Announcements, horn, and program audio belong with the wall when the hall needs them. We specify or integrate audio rather than leaving a leftover pair of cabinets.
Club staff should be able to switch from match to training video without a technician. LUXVISION typically uses NovaStar processing. Operators are trained at commissioning.
We start with the room: dimensions, viewing distance, how it is used, structure, power, and whether audio, lighting, and live video are in the project. Then a specification, coordination with the facilities team, installation, commissioning, and operator training. Spare modules stay on site so a failed cabinet is swapped, not left dark.
PROLUX Rugged
A protective LED mask keeps air-inflated sports balls off the diodes. Micro-grooves help perceived contrast. Perimeter trim protects edges as part of the mechanical design.
Earlier rugged products could lose magnetic modules on a hard hit. PROLUX Rugged uses a quarter-turn metal-to-metal interlock so modules stay on the wall and still service from the front.
Current PROLUX Rugged warranty context is 7 years, including impact from air-inflated sports balls.
Modules, cabling, and feeder access are designed from the front. That is required when a gym display is mounted tight to a wall with no rear aisle.
Gyms collect dust. Fans ingest that dust and then fail. PROLUX Rugged uses the cabinet as a heat sink with Mean Well supplies. There is no cooling fan in the documented architecture.
Pixels capable of about 3,900 nits are operated around 2,100 nits. The intent is less heat and less electrical infrastructure than driving the diodes to their maximum.
Not on this product. PROLUX Rugged is indoor. Outdoor pitch and stadium faces are a different family and a different drawing.
Air-inflated sports-ball impact is part of the current 7-year PROLUX Rugged warranty context. This is still an indoor gym-class wall.
Yes. Those are layouts on the same canvas.
When the room needs it, yes. Say so in the inquiry.
