Fanless thermal design
Gyms collect dust. Fans ingest that dust and then fail. PROLUX Rugged uses the cabinet as a heat sink with Mean Well supplies. There is no cooling fan in the documented architecture.
Under-driven, efficient LEDs
Pixels capable of about 3,900 nits are operated around 2,100 nits. The intent is less heat and less electrical infrastructure than driving the diodes to their maximum.
Repairable hardware
Locking power and data cables replace hub boards. Neutrik-style power and Cat6 keystone data keep field repairs inside normal technician practice.

Does basketball or volleyball impact void the warranty?
Air-inflated sports-ball impact is part of the current 7-year PROLUX Rugged warranty context. Hard objects, vandalism, and outdoor weather are not the same thing. This is an indoor gym product.
How is the wall serviced if it is mounted tight to a gym wall?
The architecture is full front service, including feeder cabling.
Is this the same as LUXVISION ECOLUX or COB product?
No. PROLUX Rugged is the Canadian-made sports and gym platform with mechanical impact protection. ECOLUX COB and outdoor families are different architectures.
Can this be used outdoors?
PROLUX Rugged is an indoor platform. Outdoor stadium towers and weather-exposed scoreboards use different LUXVISION families.
What processing is used?
LUXVISION typically uses NovaStar processors. Documented capabilities include up to 16-bit colour and refresh up to about 4,200 Hz. Exact controller models depend on pixel count and mapping.
